Full dentures are a good economical options of replacing many teeth. They are made from biocompatible acrylic that looks and functions just like your own teeth that rests on the gum where your teeth are missing.
How often do they last?
They may last anywhere from 5-10+ years. They should be assessed for a reline every 3 years to ensure they continue to fit properly
What is a reline?
The bone supporting the denture bearing surface of the gum shrinks over time, eventually leading to an ill fitting denture. To improve the fit of the denture, the base of the denture may be replaced to mould to the current gum available
